SINOPSIS: BONES es un drama de investigación inspirado en la vida real de los antropólogos forenses y del best-seller Kathy Reichs. La Dra. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) es una excelente antropóloga forense que trabaja para el Instituto Jeffersonian y además es escritora de novelas. Generalmente interviene en investigaciones de asesinatos cuando los métodos utilizados ya no son suficientes. Posee una extraordinaria habilidad para descifrar claves ocultas en los cuerpos de las víctimas.
Brennan trabaja junto al agente Seeley Booth David Boreanaz - Angel) de la unidad de Investigaciones de Homicidios del FBI. Booth, un agente formado en la armada, no cree en la ciencia ni en los científicos. Está convencido de que la clave para resolver los crímenes radica en descubrir la verdad a través de aquellos que aún están vivos - testigos y sospechosos- mediante técnicas obsoletas. Por este motivo, choca con la Dra. Brennan tanto en el terreno profesional como en el personal.
